Nancy Nelson

About Nancy Nelson:

My role as an HR professional is to help organizations and people succeed. I’ve held senior HR leadership positions, mostly in high tech, for companies large and small with locations around the globe. But my passion is with small business, where I started my HR career. I believe that small business is the life blood of our economy, and for this reason, it is the focus of my consulting practice today. I work with organizations to create effective people practices that align with and support their culture, and to help remove roadblocks that may get in the way. My goal, always, is to make the complex more simple and straightforward and to ease the burden of the small business owner.

I teach, train and facilitate in a variety of areas including leadership development, employee skills training, compliance, and various topics for HR professionals. I am very active in the HR community as a volunteer leader on local, state and national levels.

I also teach individuals and organizations to sell on eBay, which grew out of a part-time venture selling vintage, antique and collectible items. It’s a fun and rewarding way to use my training and development background.
